The investigation into whether Justin Bieber actually a nosy photographer is in its infancy, but that doesn’t mean authorities haven’t already decided where the case will end up. Typically, police investigations begin with fact finding, and if officers uncover enough sketchy information, they turn over the results to the district attorney who then decides whether to proceed. This one is supposedly going
to the DA’s office regardless of what the witnesses say.
According to , that automatic trajectory is basically a result of who Bieber is. Apparently, police almost always turn over high profile cases to the litigators. I suspect it’s because they don’t want to seem biased, but regardless of the reason, the battery case file will wind up in front of an attorney. Whether or not Biebs will be charged however is very uncertain.
The incident in question went down on Sunday. The pop star was reportedly shopping alongside his girlfriend Selena Gomez when they returned to find their car blocked in by the alleged victim. He reportedly refused to move, a scuffle broke out and the dude may or may not have been approached by an attorney and told to call an ambulance and file a police report. The cops showed up not long after, took statements and are supposedly waiting until Bieber returns from Norway to conduct his interview.
Given the facts released publically, it seems unlikely this will ever find its way to trial, but if it does, expect an incredible number of media pass requests.
